Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We keep collection deliberately small. There are two kinds of information involved.

• Personal

  Personal information

  The only two things we ask for directly.

  • Email address — when you join the waitlist, reserve a device, or contact us.
  • Customer-support communications — the messages you send us and our replies.

  Pre-order payments are handled by our payment processor. COR5 doesn’t see or store your full card details.

• Physiological

  Health & physiological data

  Measured by the device when you use it.

  • Cardiac signals from the ECG sensor — including heart rate and heart-rate variability
  • Vascular signals from the PPG sensor — pulse and blood-flow measures, and metrics derived from them (such as pulse transit time and vascular tone, response, and recovery)
  • Body-composition measures from bioimpedance — such as muscle, fat, hydration, and phase angle
  • Skin temperature, and motion from the IMU
  • The wellness metrics, readiness and recovery scores, test results, and trends derived from those signals
  • Any biomarker information you choose to enter yourself

  Wellness, not medical. This data is for fitness and wellness only. COR5 is not a medical device, isn’t FDA cleared, and does not measure blood pressure or provide any diagnosis. Measurements are captured on your device.

How we use your information

• To show you your readiness, recovery, and trends in the app.
• To run the device and improve the accuracy of its measurements and algorithms.
• To answer your support questions.
• To send you the pre-order and launch updates you asked for — you can opt out at any time.

How your data is shared

We do not sell your personal or physiological data. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Service providers — trusted vendors who help us operate (for example, our payment processor and email provider), under confidentiality obligations.
• Coaches and teams — if you join through a team subscription, your coach sees what you see. Nothing is hidden from you.
• Legal — when the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers — in a merger or acquisition, with the same protections carried forward.

How we protect it

• Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Measurements are captured on your device; reports catch up when you reconnect.
• We use access controls and review our security regularly.

Your choices

Your data is yours. At any time you can:

• Access a copy of your information.
• Correct anything that’s inaccurate.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Delete your data (subject to any legal retention we’re required to keep).
• Opt out of update or marketing emails.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When it is, we rely on standard contractual clauses and comparable safeguards to keep it protected.

Children’s privacy

COR5 isn’t intended for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is significant we’ll let you know in the app or by email, and the “last updated” date above will always reflect the latest version.
